Introducing NROBO Disposable Electronic Cigar

Written by admin on November 17, 2008 – 10:57 am -

The latest addition to the NJOY line of products is now here. The Nrobo™ is actually a disposable electronic cigar. Robo is short for for “robosto” which in cigar terms means a substantial but short cigar. Robosto’s are traditionally five to five and a half inches long, with a 50 ring gauge.

Njoy's Nrobo™

NJOY's Nrobo™

This newest member of the NJOY family actually is wrapped in dark paper like skin and has the look and feel of a robust cigar. It comes completely charged, and provides the user with 1,500 to 1,800 puffs. Currently is is available with no nicotine or low nicotine - which makes sense as typical cigar smokers do not actually inhale while smoking. For cigar users it’s all about the flavor, which for this device come currently in cherry and vanilla (OMG, I love the vanilla and my non-smoking inlaws were shocked on how nice it smelled when they got up close to me)

What does NJOY really think about the Nrobo™?

It’s easy and convenient and you can use it NYwhere™, NYtime™, NYplace™.

The current retail price for the Nrobo™ is $44.99, but as most of you know if you sign up to that little free report either in the upper left corner of this page or at http://NJOY-coupon.com you’ll find a secret coupon for 20% off all your NJOY products.

The NRobo will only be available for the holiday season, and is currently in production so if you are even thinking about it you may want to get your orders in today.

Oh, this is pretty cool too. Order a box of 5 Nrobo’s and get a free leather carrying case valued at $19.95.

What an outstanding stocking stuffer for your favorite cigar connoisseur!

Keep in mind, orders received on or before November 28th will be shipped December 8th - plenty of time before the rush.

Snus Revisited

Written by admin on September 23, 2008 – 10:30 am -

One of the most famous firms that turn out snus is Swedish Match. This is also thought to be the best product due to the mix and the packaging and the improved pouch. There are more General snus products offered on the market. In Sweden as an example snus started as a product for the working class and changed into a product for the high class society. The snus produced in Sweden comes in two types : the loose type and the portioned one. When it was 1st developed it was meant to give one the nicotine they required whilst leaving their hands free for work. Swedish snus is placed under the higher lip close to the gum. If the mini pouches are used it is invisible, therefore if you don’t need anybody to grasp you are using it just don’t tell them. Also as it is packed you don’t have to spit it and it is simpler to dump it. A portion should be kept for roughly half an hour, but one can have as many portions a day as wanted. The General snus brand is an example of the few brands that offer maxi portions. The nicotine amount in a pouch varies from 0.4 mg to fifteen mg. The analysis made shows that the quantity of nicotine the body absorbs is half the quantity of nicotine present in a snus portion.

General snus offers pouches with 4, 6, 8, and eleven grams of nicotine. The snus is made thru a special process and the ingredients used are all employed in the alimentary industry too. Nevertheless, not every nation permit snus to be marketed or sold. The states where the snus is promoted are also promoting it as a means of reducing the harm produced by smoking. In the producing process the tobacco can be grinded differently. The finite product does not need to be gnawed or sucked on like the snuff.

DIY Nicotine Dangers

Written by admin on September 15, 2008 – 1:35 pm -

One of the things I really like about the NJOY is the easy to order and handle cartridges.  I recently discovered there are new variety packs available, and I just ordered some today to try out.  They are multi flavored.

Currently NJOY provides regular, menthol, vanilla strawberry, and apple flavors. I know they’re working on some more and I’ll be sharing my favorites as soon as they come in.

These flavors come in various nicotine levels so no one is left out.

I just came across some scary information though.  In the efforts of some to save money or just be adventurous, there are those who are attempting to create their own e-liquid. When doing this, they are adding their own nicotine.  This is something extremely hazardous!

Nicotine is not something to be handled lightly.  In fact, if handled improperly it can and will kill you. As little as a single 60mg drop can leave you 6 feet under. Effects will be felt as a nicotine overdose. The typical dizzyness, nausea, and even vomiting - and before you know it it’s too late.

Here is a list of symptoms to be aware of:

  • Vomiting and nausea, diarrhea
  • Headaches
  • Troubled Breathing
  • Wanness or Pallor (paleness)
  • Sweating
  • Heart Palpitations
  • Stomach Cramps
  • Drooling
  • Fatigue

And ultimately a severe nicotine overdose can cause death.

In the pursuit of nicotine extraction techniques, most methods are untested and can prove dangerous. The formulation of substances used with your electronic cigarette really should be left in the hands of trained chemists. Taking these experiments into your own hands can not only be hazardous for you, but for your family as well.

Be smart.  Order cartridges and don’t play with creating your own concoctions. If there is a flavor or modification you desire, please contact Njoy directly and let them know. They are extremely accomodating, and the safety to their customers is a priority.

New York Post and Wacky Tabacky

Written by admin on August 20, 2008 – 12:14 pm -

I was delighted to see a spot in the New York Post which explored smokeless nicotine.  It was nice to see an electronic cigarette spotlighted as an option.

Justin Rocket Silverman reported that Lindsay Lohan is a fan of “dissolvable tobacco” pill Ariva.  Did no one tell Lindsay about the e-cig?  It looks like Ariva is a powdered chewing tobacco.  While tobacco in it’s pure form does leave behind the glue and other elements brought on by cigarettes, there is no denying that the electronic cigarette with it’s 4 simple ingredients has got to be the king of tobacco addiction alternatives.

Snus is another hot topic.  Loose snus or packed snus.  The packed one comes in something like a teabag. Loose snus is kept near the gum like chewing tobacco.  Snus dates back to the late 1700’s.  I’ve never used the stuff, but I gotta wonder if you have to spit the stuff up.  And additional problem here is that you are selling an actual tobacco product and the taxes will be imposed.  I also wonder how the mouth is left tasting.

Snuff which is also referred to as “cowboy cocaine” is tobacco that is snorted.  Apparently this is confused with cocaine in public places at times, and burns to use.  It delivers an immediate nicotine blast to the user and has been around for at least 400 years.

Crown 7 got the honorable mention as a brand of electronic cigarette.  I one part of this article really gave me a giggle:

It’s not certain how local bars and restaurants will take to the Crown 7 if it catches on in NYC, but there’s no law against boiling water indoors, which is essentially what the device does.

That was a really good explanation I thought. The atomizer and the battery work with the propylene glycol to create a steam which looks like smoke. But we all know there is no real smoke or fire.

I wish Mr. Silverman had seen the NJOY NPRO. That would have really had him going. The example picture provided was of a cigar style electronic smoking device. The NPRO in white looks just like a regular cigarette. I think that may have really converted readers quickly who enjoy smoking their tobacco.

Painting My Electronic Cigarette

Written by admin on August 12, 2008 – 7:22 am -

I bought the paint, brushes and sponges.  I just need to find the nerve.  I’m going to paint my electronic cigarette!

After seeing a lovely layered job someone did, I figured it’s time.

I headed out to the Michael’s Arts and Crafts store a couple of days ago.  The paint selection was overwhelming.  I wanted to be sure to not only select some colors I liked, but needed to be careful to get the right kind of paint.

The instructions I obtained called for FolkArt Enamels Acrylic Metallic Paint for glass & ceramics.  While Michaels carries FolkArt, I was unable to find this particular blend.  Then there was the choice on metallic or not.

After a good hour or so bouncing around in the store, a declined sponge sword fight with my other half, bouncing from the do it yourself kits and model cars to the glass ware, I finally picked some stuff up.  I got the Delta glass paint which will need to cure for at least 10 days after applying.  I really couldn’t help myself, and I got a couple of sample kits.  One is iridecent, and the other is just plain.  I also got PermEnamel in the silver.  Now with so many colors, I don’t know where to begin.

I made sure to check something with NJOY first.  I wanted to make sure my warranty would be valid after painting my e-cig.  I am delighted to report it is!  If there are any problems as far as the battery dying or atomizer, NJOY will take your painted e-cig and replace it with a new one - just not painted.

I am charging up the batteries in my camera right now, and I’ll see if I can’t supply some pics or video when I start painting.  We will however have to wait some time for me to test the paint and see how it holds up after it has cured - so I don’t recommend anyone else do this just yet!  You can, but I can’t guarantee anything.

While I am at it, I have a cigarette case solution as well, and I can paint that to match.  I’m almost ready to go!

China Is Birthplace to the Electronic Cigarette

Written by admin on August 5, 2008 – 12:58 pm -

If you don’t know already, China is the birthplace of the electronic cigarette. Golden Dragon Group Ltd. started it all with Runyan, and soon spread out to many countries. It didn’t take long for other brands to evolve, and for this device to finally make it’s debut in the US. The technology actually dates back to 2003.

Before the year 2000 there were roughly 350 million smokers in China. China used about one third of the worlds tobacco supplies. With a rising threat facing their own people, one can easily see the necessity to create an acceptable alternative.

While there was a good chunk obtained by taxes on cigarettes, there was a higher percentage going out from all the health issues related to traditional smoking.

There is no denying, the electronic cigarette is a much healthier alternative to traditional smoking, and certainly while it is not an official smoking cessation device, it is the easiest to control nicotine delivery system for the consumer. It is presented in a way the smoker is familiar with.

Thanks China!

NJOY NPRO Electronic Cigarette

Written by admin on July 30, 2008 – 2:16 pm -

This just in! I’ve been sent some pictures of the new NJOY NPRO.

It appears to be the size of a traditional cigarette, and comes in silver or white.

I’ll be anxious to try this new one - and being the non-conventional gal I am I will probably go for the silver.

I just took some photo’s of my own recently, so today may be a good day for a slide show. It does look like rain here in the north east.

Here’s the silver.  Very cool.  I believe the first line of NJOY’s were in the silver on the cigar style as well.  I hope this one will stay.

Npro White - traditional cigarette size and look

This looks just like my honey’s Marlboro’s. He has not committed to making the change yet. I gave him a pen style, but I think this will be a bit more convincing.

And here are the classics:

The tres amigo’s as I like to call them here. The white, black and burgundy.

Oh, I almost forgot! I had ordered a cigar for my friend Phil. I was really impressed at how classy it looks.

So there’s the exciting slide show.

Will the Electronic Cigarette be a Coffin Nail to Traditional Cigarettes?

Written by admin on July 26, 2008 – 11:22 am -

The electronic cigarette has already begun to cause a bit of a stir amongst smokers. Many smokers are beginning to share how this device has lightened a heavy feeling in the lungs and returned the senses of smell as well as taste buds.

The increasing taxes on cigarettes, especially those in New York City have many smokers starting to consider the advantages to switching to electronic cigarettes.

While this device has not been given the official status of a smoking cessation device, many smokers have already used it to quit.

So, what will this mean for the cigarette companies? And will tobacco growers be forced into finding new uses for the tobacco plant in general?

Oh No! My Atomizer!

Written by admin on July 24, 2008 – 5:57 pm -

My atomizer took a turn for the worse on my electric cigarette.

I got up for my morning coffee and e-cig, and the coffee was fine, but there was no smoke.  I thought at first maybe I needed a new cartridge, so I replaced it.  Still, no smoke.  Then I thought maybe something was wrong with the battery.  Nope.

A feeling of despair came over me.  I had felt so good, and really had stuck to just my electronic cigarette.

As much as I have cut back on smoking, I am not completely weened from nicotine. But with my electronic cigarette I was able to continue working in one place.  I had not seen or smelled a dirty ashtray in days.

Luckily for me, I purchased an NJOY.  I knew I was covered with their one year warranty.  I knew they would fix this problem.

I had been planning to order a second electronic cigarette to use with the no nicotine cartridges, and had been delaying.  So now I needed to call in.

I talked to Jim at NJOY and he was extremely accomodating.  He assured me he would have a replacement atomizer on it’s way immediately.  I ordered a second NJOY as well.  I realize now that it will be beneficial in more ways than one.

But for the time being, I was still going to have to cover myself for a couple of days and resort back to cigarettes.  I was not happy about having to shell out the extra money.

After visiting the store, I went to light up and I was so disgusted.  The taste was dirty and the smoke felt heavy.  We have a smoking area in the basement - and it was back to there for me.  While I could resort to regular cigarettes, it just was an awful feeling.  I did notice one thing - the pack lasted me a really long time as I could not smoke an entire cigarette in one sitting.

A couple days later my new atomizer finally arrived.  It probably would have come sooner, but I’m currently in a very remote area.  I was so relieved, and anxious to return to my new normal feeling.

I also was excited over the arrival of my new NJOY.  I got the black one.  I have to say, it looks even better than in the pictures.  Very stylish and classy.

I feel very confident now - and know with the back-up I will always be prepared.  I can also say I am extremely happy with NJOY’s customer service and warranty.

12 Advantages to Switching to Electronic Cigarettes

Written by admin on July 7, 2008 – 10:04 am -

Smokers know that traditional smoking is harmful to their health. Yet, for some it is a relaxing or social experience they are not ready to give up. Beyond addiction to nicotine, there are rituals many smokers enjoy that delay their quest to seek ways to stop. Modern technology has a way of catching up and making our lives just a little easier. Possibly one of the greatest new discoveries is that of the electronic cigarette.

The electronic cigarette is basically a device that looks like a cigarette, delivers “smoke” and nicotine, and allows the smoker to enjoy the smoking experience. So if the smoker is still smoking, how can there be advantages?

To begin, because the electronic cigarette is electric, it runs on batteries. This means no lighters, no matches, and no actual flame. At the end of most e-cigarettes is a small light that glows when taking a puff. If you are to drop it or put it down, there is no fire to catch onto anything. Batteries give three advantages. There is no flame so fires are less likely to occur. The consumer will no longer need to purchase lighter fluid, lighters or matches, making for much less pollution. And the batteries are rechargeable, also adding to less waste.

The smoke emitted from an e-cigarette is not really smoke but just a vapor. It lasts just long enough to give the appearance of being smoke, but quickly disappears into thin air. There is no hovering cloud of smoke or second hand smoke. Since there is no smoke, the smell does not permeate clothing, hair, and surroundings like real smoke. No second hand smoke makes the use of electronic smoking devices safe around friends and family. The lack of saturating or offensive odors and no dangerous emissions make e-cigarettes sociably friendly.

A cartridge for the electronic cigarette can last the equivalent of 2 packs of cigarettes. When comparing waste left behind from smoking, this cartridge uses far less resources than the production and waste left from even one pack of cigarettes. Instead of as many as 40 cigarette butts and 2 empty boxes, there is one small cartridge and mouthpiece. This makes for savings in personal space when traveling. Gas is saved in the transport of product refills. And landfill pollution has just been greatly reduced.

While the cost of tax on tobacco increases, the cartridges used with smoking an e-cigarette are not subject to those taxes. E-cigarettes can cut the cost of smoking in half or more. In addition, patches and other quit smoking medications can be just as expensive as cigarettes. While the e-cigarette has not been proven to be an official smoking cessation device, it does provide a healthier alternative to smoking without the side effects caused by the patch and medicines. A smoker can cut their smoking costs in half and reduce the risks of tobacco smoking by avoiding those 4000 toxins found in regular cigarettes.

Finally, because electric cigarettes are not considered smoking, they are legal in more places. This means you can use the device in some restaurants and places where it is unacceptable to smoke. This alone could be the biggest advantage to a smoker. Many apartments and rentals require non-smoking tenants. Users of e-cigarettes are not considered smokers.

These advantages are just the beginning. Perhaps with research, e-smoking can eventually be used as a successful replacement for smokers, and lead to permanent nicotine reduction for those wishing to do so in the future. For now, it is definitely something for every smoker to consider as a better, considerably less toxic way to smoke.
